Instead of Starbucks (“SBUX”), consider meeting at your local Red Cross.

Twice a month you can donate platelets via apheresis. Most of the Red Cross Platelets go to pediatric cancer patients.

The procedure takes about an hour or two. So, you could knock out two meetings while being part of the solution. And, you could recruit more donors in the process.

You would want plenty of supply available if your own kids were sick. So, next time you are standing in line at SBUX, you never know… the fellow next to you might have kids in need of your platelets.
